Vice President and General Manager of Vestcom
As Vice President and General Manager for Vestcom, Ned leads the development of Vestcom’s strategic growth plan, as well as developing and delivering new growth and partnership opportunities. His responsibilities include overseeing the Corporate Strategy, Innovation, Marketing, and Product Management functions.
Prior to joining Vestcom, Ned served as Executive Vice President Retail Strategy and Operations at Acosta, where he spent more than 15 years in various leadership positions within Grocery Sales, Retail Operations and Corporate Strategy. He previously spent time as a management consultant with Bain & Company and served as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
Ned earned his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University.
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Himani Ashleman joined Vestcom in January 2020 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. She oversees human resources strategy, talent and performance management, organizational change efforts, staffing, benefits and compensation.
Mani has over 25 years of experience across a broad range of human resource disciplines, with a particular expertise in talent management.
Prior to Vestcom, she was with Fortune Brands Home & Security where she held a dual role as Vice President, Global Talent Management, Fortune Brands Home and Security and Vice President, Human Resources, Health, Safety and Environment for ThermaTru, an FBHS subsidiary. Mani spent time in similar roles at Cooper Tire and Rubber, IDEX Corporation and Allied Signal / Honeywell. In those roles, she implemented cutting-edge HR practices, and earned a Six Sigma Black Belt, while collaborating with management teams on everything from compensation programs to due diligence and acquisition integrations.
Mani is a graduate of The George Washington University and resides in the greater Chicago area.
Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Rotary Operations
Scott Aten joined Vestcom in 2011, bringing a wealth of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, and Lean/Best Practices. Since that time, Mr. Aten has greatly enhanced Vestcom’s operational performance by reducing costs and improving the quality and performance of Vestcom’s suppliers.
Previously holding a leadership operations position with Brown Printing Company, Mr. Aten has brought his expertise to Vestcom to help streamline the output of all facilities and ensure equipment continues to run at optimal capacity.
Mr. Aten earned his MBA from the University of West Florida and his Bachelor of Science degree (Mechanical Engineering) from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
Senior Vice President, Client Solutions & Technology
Paul Brooking brings more than 27 years of technology experience, operational management knowledge, and expert solutions development to Vestcom’s leadership team. During his nearly 20 years at Vestcom, Mr. Brooking has applied his unique brand of creative thinking to lead dozens of high level customer data solutions launches, post-M&A business integration initiatives, and numerous mission-critical enterprise IT system and network infrastructure upgrades. Mr. Brooking has been a key contributor to Vestcom’s success and growth.
As senior vice president of Vestcom’s Client Solutions and Technology, Mr. Brooking leads his team to work closely with new and existing clients, designing and implementing solutions to meet the ever changing retail marketing challenges. Mr. Brooking also oversees the internal around the clock, day-to-day processing of the customer’s data services, database development and varying aspects of programming support services.
Mr. Brooking began his career as a guidance and control engineer for McDonnell Douglas Corporation working on cruise missile and advance products. He holds an electrical engineering degree from Marquette University, an MBA from Washington University and is a certified PMP from the Project Management Institute.
Senior Vice President, Service Bureau Operations
David Lewis joined Vestcom in 2011 as an Operations leader with more than 20 years experience managing operations for large manufacturing organizations, distribution centers and client service teams.
Mr. Lewis’s leadership has helped Vestcom grow by helping to expand our distributive print model across the US. Mr. Lewis has been instrumental in building Vestcom’s high-performance site-level teams and as Senior Vice President of Service Bureau Operations, he is responsible for the delivery of finished product solutions and consistent superior results for our Clients.
Mr. Lewis holds a Bachelors of Arts in Organizational Management from Bethel University.
Senior Vice President & General Manager, Retailer Technology & Solutions
Mark Sciortino joined Vestcom in May of 2018 and serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Retailer Technology and Solutions business. His responsibilities include leading Vestcom’s Retail client development teams to deliver leading edge solutions that make the shelf-edge more engaging to shoppers and enabling store team members to execute their tasks more effectively. Mark previously served as Senior Vice President Strategy and Corporate Development, overseeing Marketing, Product Management, and Innovation.
Prior to joining Vestcom, Mark led Brand Strategy and Planning for Walgreens Co where he stewarded investment across broadcast and digital marketing mediums to engage customers, build brand equity, and maximize return on investment. Previously, Mark worked as a Principal strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, in brand marketing at Kraft Foods, and software development at Cintas Corporation.
Mark earned his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School where he was named a Siebel Scholar. He earned a BS in Business from Miami University with cum laude honors.
Senior Vice President & General Manager, CPG & Retailer Media Solutions
As SVP and General Manager of CPG and Retailer Media Solutions, Shock leads the commercial team responsible for the go to market strategy and execution of Vestcom’s shelf edge media business. This includes the development of partnerships across brands, retailers, and agencies alike to deliver value accretive solutions for all parties. Prior to this role, he also served as our SVP of Revenue Growth and Client Engagement. As a 25-year industry veteran, Shock brings a deep understanding of the challenging and complex dynamics of Retail and CPG to lead our clients in transforming their shelf-edge.
Prior to joining Vestcom, he was SVP of Sales at Quotient Technology, leading its national sales team and pioneering the transition of the multi-billion dollar couponing industry from offline to on-line. Previously, Shock also served as the Executive Director of Business Development for Catalina Marketing where he managed the Procter & Gamble business. Shock began his career as a CPG brand marketer and worked for over a decade in various capacities ranging from Field Sales to Shopper Marketing to Trade Marketing at industry leaders such as General Mills and Coca-Cola.
Shock has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Miami University, and an MBA from Western Michigan University. He currently lives in Cincinnati, OH.
Senior Vice President, Information Technology
Shannon Yates joined Vestcom in 2006 as a software engineer after spending several years honing his skills at companies such as Dassault and Dell. Since joining Vestcom, he has been a driving force in delivering many key technology initiatives that have contributed significantly to Vestcom’s success and growth.
As Vestcom’s Senior Vice President, Information Technology, Shannon is responsible for development and delivery of all Vestcom solutions. His teams design and implement platforms that meet ever-changing retail marketing challenges while delivering the high-quality services our clients expect.
Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas – Little Rock. He currently lives in Herber Springs, AR.
